Well-Known Tech Hardware Analyst, Mark S. Miller Joins Brean Murray, Carret & Co.

Mark S. Miller, M.S., Ph.D. candidate has joined the firm as Senior Vice President and Senior Analyst in Tech Hardware, with emphasis in disk drives and photonics.

He has been noted in the investment community for high-profile calls in his six years at Hoefer & Arnett in San Francisco. He is ranked #1 in stock performance by Zacks in computer peripherals for 2006 year to date.

Mr. Miller spent 25 years as a research physicist and manager in Silicon Valley and elsewhere, at companies such as Seagate, 3M, Read-Rite and Control Data, as well as at NASA. He has been awarded six patents, numerous technology awards, and has had 40 studies in published in international technical journals. He will initially be based near Silicon Valley before moving to the New York area.
