Brean Murray, Carret & Co. Expands China Research Practice with Experienced Equity Analyst

NEW YORK, NY – Brean Murray, Carret & Co. is pleased to announce that Hao Hong, CFA has joined the firm’s Equity Research department as Senior Vice President and Senior Analyst.
As a member of the firm’s well-known and respected China Research practice, Mr. Hong will conduct macroeconomic, industry thematic, and company-specific research on China. Previously, Mr. Hong covered Chinese stocks in the consumer, financial services, and agriculture industries. Mr. Hong has been quoted frequently in the leading financial press, including CNN, Forbes, and Reuters.
Mr. Hong brings to the firm substantial experience from several financial and consulting positions. He previously served as a senior equity analyst at Susquehanna Financial Group (the broker-dealer affiliate of Susquehanna International Group (SIG)), a global equity strategist at Citigroup in New York, and an equity analyst at Morgan Stanley in Sydney, Australia. Additionally, Hao was a senior consultant with Stern Stewart & Co. in Melbourne and Sydney.
